What You Need To Register

You only need one government-issued ID document. South African residents can bring an ID book or smart ID card. International guests must show a passport with valid entry stamps. Photocopies will not be accepted for the first registration.

At the MVG desk our team checks your ID, confirms expiry and signatures, and then capture your member details in the system. For higher-tier access into Salon Privé you will also go through biometric verification, as required.

Standard Sun MVG sign up does not cost anything. After approval, we print your physical card straight away and your account becomes fully active within roughly 2-4 hours. Your card stays valid as long as you use it at least once in any 12 month period.

How Sign Up Works At The MVG Desk

In person registration usually follows a simple flow, even if you are new to casino loyalty programs.

1. Go to the Sun MVG desk on the main casino floor near the entrance.
2. Hand your South African ID or passport to the staff member.
3. Complete the application with your full name, date of birth, contact numbers and address.
4. Add an email address so we can send digital statements and promotional offers.
5. Read through the program terms, including responsible gaming rules, then sign where needed.
6. Wait a few minutes while we process your profile and print the card.
7. Take your Sun MVG card and initial PIN from the desk.

Your online profile and in-casino account are linked. You can sign up online, then visit Windmill Casino and use your membership number on the gaming floor while you wait to pick up the printed card.

Membership Tiers

Sun MVG has four membership levels based on your points balance and activity.

Classic members can use the main gaming floor, with 332 slot machines and 11 gaming tables. Slots usually run Sunday to Thursday from 08h00 to 02h00, and Friday to Saturday from 08h00 to 03h00. Tables are open Sunday to Thursday 15h00 to 01h00, and Friday to Saturday 15h00 to 02h00.

Using Your Card On The Gaming Floor

To earn points on slots, insert your Sun MVG card into the card reader on the machine before you start playing. The system records your bets, wins and time played to calculate points. If you remove the card during your game, point earning will pause until you reinsert it.

At tables, present your MVG card to the pit supervisor when you start a session. They capture your buy-in and average bet size so that your table play can be credited manually. Without presenting your card, those points cannot be allocated to your account.

Managing Your Account

You can manage most of your Sun MVG profile through the Sun International online portal or mobile app. Log in with your membership number and the password you selected. First time online users will need to verify their email address and set security questions.

Inside your dashboard you see your current point balance, tier level, recent transactions and any active promotions linked to your account. You can also update contact information, communication preferences and responsible gaming settings. If you need to change your name or ID details, we will have to verify those changes in person at the MVG desk.
